Oxwall community software 1.0 beta 3

Beta 2 and Beta 3 come into a bar… Ok ok, we’ll behave. Oxwall 1.0 beta 3 is available for download.

Please be aware that we don’t support automatic upgrades from beta 2 to beta 3 until we release upgrade toolkit together with version 1.0 stable. So if you have a running site on beta 2 and want to keep it alive please wait until then.

Apart from many minor fixes we added server requirements check to the installation wizard which should help clear up and eliminate 60 to 70% of problem reports that people submit in the forum.

Enjoy our work as much as we do!

  1. BTW Why don’t you use your own blog system rather than WOrdpress? It would give a good attention to Oxwall users .

  2. Admin Can u plz tell that what new Features are Added in Oxwall 1.0 Beta 3??Whats the Difference between beta 2 and beta 3??

  3. agree to awais!!! Please publish a complete changelog – documentation is as important as the software itself, so please write, write, write more docs! Thanks!

  4. a simple blog post is definitely not enough as “release notes” – this looks very unprofessional and gives me the feeling of beeing conftonted with a postnuke-like old-days typical php hackery…

  5. As I said in the blog post, it’s a maintenance release with minor bugfixes and enhanced installation wizard.

When we have proper public bugtrack we will list the list of closed tickets with each release. Thank you.

  10. Hi, I believe your web site may be having web browser compatibility issues.
Whenever I look at your site in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues.

I simply wanted to give you a quick heads up!
    Apart from that, fantastic site!
